River National Forest
Originally a wagon road in 1867 connecting town along the
western lope of the Continental Divide with the eastern slope towns, the
2.1 mile Argentine Pass Trail is rated More Difficult and receives little
use. To reach Argentine Pass Trail from
I-70, exit 205 for Silverthorne/Dillon Colorado. Travel east along Highway
6 toward Keystone. Just past Keystone, turn right onto Montezuma Road (CR
5). Continue along CR 5 for 4.62 miles to Peru Creek Road (FR 260). |
