Available for both hiking, mountain biking, and
4WD, the 1.83 mile Indiana Creek Road travels up to Boreas Pass Road
(CR 10), which can then be taken back toward Breckenridge (left) or over
Boreas Pass to Como in Park County
(right).
The old mining town of Dyersville and the Warriors Mark
Mine may be reached by traveling about 1.3 miles from the beginning of the
unpaved section of Indiana Creek Road and turn right onto the road to
Dyersville (FR 597). Dyersville is about 0.21 miles on the left while
Warriors Mark Mine is another 0.1 mile. Turn left and continue straight. |

Another popular route involves making a loop from Indiana
Creek Road to Pennsylvania Creek Road (FR 611) which travel back down to
Highway 9. Turn right onto Pennsylvania Creek Road immediately after the
beginning of the unpaved portion of Indiana Creek Road.
To reach Indiana Creek Road from I-70, exit 203 for
Frisco/Breckenridge Colorado and travel south along Highway 9 toward
Breckenridge. Continue along Highway 9 through Breckenridge. About 1 mile
past the Boreas Pass Road traffic light turn left onto Wagon Road.
Continue along Wagon Road and turn left onto Indiana Creek Road (FR 593).
At the fork in the road bear left and continue on Indiana Creek Road. The
OHV section of Indiana Creek Road begins where the pavement ends. |
