Available for both hiking, mountain biking, and
4WD, the 3.3 mile Deer Creek Road provides excellent opportunities to
view the alpine environment and offers great views of the Continental
Divide.
A loop may be made by traveling Deer Creek Road, Radical
Hill, to Webster Pass Road and back to Montezuma.

To reach Deer Creek Road from I-70 take exit 205 for Silverthorne/Dillon
and travel east along Highway 6 towards Keystone Colorado. Turn right onto
Montezuma Road (CR 5) just past Keystone. Continue along Montezuma Road
for 7 miles and pass through Montezuma to Deer Creek Road (about 1 mile
past Montezuma). At the end of Montezuma Road is the trailhead parking
area of Deer Creek Road. |
