Receiving it's name from an 1800's settlement at the foot of nearby
Mosca Pass, the Montville Nature Trail's trailhead is located 0.25 miles
north of the Visitor Center.

Directions:
Great Sand Dunes National Monument is located 35 miles northeast of
Alamosa, Colorado, reached by US Highway 160 and Colorado Highway 150 from
the south. or from Colorado Highway 17 and County Six Mile Lane from the
west.
Please Note: Great Sand Dunes National Monument is located in both Alamosa
County and Saguache County, therefore Montville Nature Trail is being
listed in both Counties.
