Gold Creek Lake Trail #1150, Routt County Colorado Hiking Trails

Available for hiking and horseback riding, the 7.5 mile Gold Creek Lake Trail is located within the Mount Zirkel Wilderness and offers a heavily shaded trail which passes a 35' waterfall as it follows Gold Creek to the Gold Creek Lake.

To reach Gold Creek Lake Trail from Steamboat Springs Colorado, travel west along Highway 40 for 2 miles and turn right onto CR 129. Continue along CR 129 for 18 miles to Seedhouse Road (FR 400/CR 64) and turn right. Travel 10 miles along Seedhouse Road to it's end at the Salvonia Trailhead parking.
