Bear River Dispersed Camp Sites

Located within Routt
National Forest, Bear River Dispersed Campsites offer 30 individual
campsites surrounded by the 235,000 acre Flat Tops Wilderness. While most of
the campsites offer picnic tables, all sites have fire grates. Drinking
water & toilets a available a few miles away at Bear Lake, Horseshoe
& Coldsprings campgrounds. Toilet facilities are also located at
dispersed sites 3, 4, 9 & 10. Sites are marked with numbered camping
post. |

| To reach Bear River Dispersed Camp
Sites from Yampa Colorado, travel 6.5 miles southwest along CR 7 where it
becomes FR 900. Continue along FR 900 for 2.5 miles. Sites are located at
various points along Bear River Road over the next 6 miles. |
