Available for Hiking, and Horseback Riding,
the 3.5 mile Cliff Lake Trail starts out 100 yards before reaching
Spring Cave and angles back to the northwest, climbing quickly to a
sagebrush covered bench. Traveling along the bench for 0.25 miles before
starting up through stands of timber, the trail continues about 3 miles
to reach Cliff Lake.

To reach Cliff Lake Trail from Meeker Colorado, travel east along CO 13
for a mile and turn east onto CR 8. Continue along CR 8 for 18 miles and
turn south onto CR 10 and continue for 2 miles, jog north for 0.25 mile,
then east for 10 miles to the South Fork
Campground and the trailhead. Follow Spring Cave Trail for about 0.5
mile to where Cliff Lake Trail branches to the south.
