Long Park Trail #1809

Available for Hiking, and Horseback Riding, and Motorcycle
(seasonal), the 2 mile Long Park Trail connects to the Dadhorse-Long
Park Loop 4WD road #230. Long Park Trail also connects with Lost Park Road
#231 which is seasonally open to ATVs and motorcycles. From the trailhead
the trail climbs rapidly for 0.5 mile to the northeast until reaching the
crest of the ridge between White River and Long Park Creek drainages. The
trail follows Long Park Creek for the next 1.6 miles into the meadows of
Long Park to the junction of Road #230 and #231.

| To reach Long Park Trail from Meeker Colorado, travel
east along CO 13 for a mile and turn east onto CR 8. Continue along CR 8
for 31 miles. Long-Lost Trailhead is on the north side of the road just
before the Lost Creek Guard Station. |
