Available for Hiking, and Horseback Riding, 4WD,
ATV and Motorcycle, the 11.7 mile Deadhorse-Long Park Loop
travels up a steep south facing slope following switchbacks from it's west
entrance. After about 2 miles the road enters Long Park, then divides with
the west fork traveling down Long Park Creek and ends at Trough Gulch. The
north fork travels up Long Park Creek to the divide between White River
& Williams Fork drainages. After about 3 miles the trail drops back
into the White River drainage.

| To reach Deadhorse-Long Park Loop
Road from Meeker Colorado, travel
east along CO 13 for a mile and turn east onto CR 8. Continue along CR 8
for 35 miles to the west terminus or 38 miles to the east terminus. |
