Pitkin County Colorado Hiking Trails
Ruedi Trail #1912
|
|
White
River National Forest
Available to both hikers and bikers, the 8
mile Ruedi Trail is located 200' north of the Powerline Jeep Trail. The
first 2 miles are very steep as Ruedi Trail cuts across the powerline.
After reaching the summit of redhill, follow the jeep trail north about
0.25 mile where the jeep trail starts downhill while the trail continues
uphill. Ruedi Trail offers great 360 degree views from the to. For
mountain bikes, this is a good route for a loop ride from Cattle Creek or
Mt. Thomas Trail from Crooked Creek Pass. |
