To reach Hay Park Trail from Carbondale Colorado, travel south along Highway 133 for 1.4 miles and turn left onto Prince Creek Road. Continue along Prince Creek Road for 6 miles to the fork in the road and bear right. Travel about 2 miles to the Thomas Lakes trailhead.
