East Creek/Gift Creek Trail #1963, Pitkin County Colorado Hiking Trails

One of the most challenging trails in the Maroon Bells/Snowmass Wilderness, East Creek/Gift Creek Trail follows East Creek & much of Gift Creek. The trail rises to a spectacular pass of over 12,000' and ends at it's junction with Avalanche Creek Trail #1959.

To reach East Creek/Gift Creek Trail from Redstone Colorado, travel through town to the north edge of town, and take the 4WD road to the east beside the last house on the right side. If you don't have a 4WD you must park here & walk the extra 0.5 mile to the trailhead.
