Offering a scenic ride with great views of Castle Creek
Valley, the 4.5 mile Little Annie Road is fairly well maintained and
heavily used. Travel by several private drives during the
first few miles, Little Annie Road climbs gradually. Becoming steeper, the
road climbs to the intersection with Midnight Mine Road in about 3 miles.
To continue to the top of Aspen Mountain, stay straight. The last section
of Little Annie Road climbs to the top of aspen Mountain and the Sundeck
Restaurant. Spectacular views are in all directions. From the top of Aspen
Mountain you may access Richmond Hill Road which follows the ridge behind
Aspen Mountain. |

To reach Little Annie Road from Aspen Colorado, travel west along Highway 82
for 0.5 mile to the Roundabout. Travel around the roundabout and turn right
onto Castle Creek Road. Continue along Castle Creek Road for about 7 miles
to Little Annie Road on left. A small parking area is on the right.
