White River National Forest Hiking Trails

Arkansas Mountain Trail #1965

White River National Forest

Connecting 3 trails together, the 5.2 mile Arkansas Mt. Trail starts 1 mile up Silver Creek Trail and ends when it joins Carbonate Creek Trail. Along the way Arkansas Mt. Trail connects with North Lost Trail at 1.5 miles, bear right, and shortly after a stream crossing a trail coming form Avalanche Pass joins in. Keep left to continue along Arkansas Mountain Trail.

To reach Arkansas Mountain Trail from Marble Colorado, travel east along CR 3, past Beaver Lake for about a mile to road #315 and turn left. Continue along #315 for about 3.5 miles.

As the road starts to descend you will see a steep road to the left beside a small stream, take the left turn to the trailhead. The road from Marble is 4WD. Travel about 1 mile up Silver Creek Pass Trail to Arkansas Mt. Trail on the left.
