Pine River Drainage
Located within the Columbine Ranger District of San
Juan National Forest, the 12 mile Endlich Mesa Trail North from Miller
Mountain is rated more difficult and receives heavy use. Endlich Mesa
Trail begins and at an elevation of 11,600' (Lemon Reservoir, Vallecito
Reservoir, Columbine Pass) and an ending elevation of 12,680' (Columbine
Pass).
Also known on some maps as the Silver Mesa Trail, Endlich
Mesa Trail passes several old mines en route to Columbine Pass. The
highest point is located at mile 10.5 and has an elevation of 12,800'.
