Available for hiking, and horseback riding,
Wason-Wheeler Trail begins just below the Baptist Church property in
Creede Colorado with a steep, hard climb to Inspiration Point. This climb
includes several switchbacks. From Inspiration Point, the trail follows
the ridge between the Dry Gulch & East Willow Drainages. At the head of
Dry Gulch, Wason Wheeler Trail enters a burn area, after which begins a
short climb onto the west end of Wason Park. |
