Located within Colorado National
Monument, the 0.25 mile Window Rock Trail forms a level loop offering an
overlook with views of Wedding canyons and most of the major rock formations
including Independence Monument.
To reach Colorado National Monument from while traveling west
take Highway I-70 to Grand Junction to Exit 31. Follow signs through
Grand Junction to the east entrance. While traveling east take
Highway I-70 to Exit 19 (Fruita) and travel south 4.0 miles along
Highway 340 to the west entrance.
