and Roosevelt National Forests and Pawnee National Grassland
Located within the Canyon Lakes Ranger District, 3.2 mile (to forest
boundary) Stormy Peaks Trail passes through Comanche Peak Wilderness and
into Rocky Mountain National
Park where it ends at the Lost Lake Trail. To reach Stormy Peaks
Trail from Fort Collins Colorado, travel west along CO 14 for 35 miles
and turn south onto Pingree Park Road. Continue along Pingree Park Road
for about 18 miles to the trailhead just southeast of the entrance to
Pingree Park campus.
