Located within the Canyon Lakes Ranger District, the 4 mile Mount Margaret Trail is popular with hikers & mountain bikers and may be accessed from Dowdy Lake Campground.

To reach Mount Margaret Trail from Fort Collins Colorado, travel north along Highway 287 for 21 miles to Livermore and turn left onto Redfeather Lakes Road and travel 20 miles to the trailhead on the right.
