Killpecker Trail #956, Larimer County Colorado Hiking Trails

Located within the Canyon Lakes Ranger District, the 4.2 mile Killpecker Trail ascends from Deadman Road to the Bald Mountain Jeep Trail at Middle Bald Mountain.

To reach Killpecker Trail from Fort Collins Colorado, travel north along Highway 287 for 21 miles to Livermore and turn left onto Redfeather Lakes Road.

Continue along Redfeather Lakes Road for about 31 miles (the road becomes gravel just past the village of Redfeather Lakes). Killpecker Trailhead is on the south side of the road, across from North Fork Poudre Campground.
