Located within Elk
Meadow Park, the 2.4 mile Too Long Trail is accessed via Meadow View
Trail, has an elevation increase of 1,220' and is rated strenuous.
Continuing into Denver Mtn. Parks property, Too Long Trail has several
switchbacks and offers views of the valley. To reach Elk Meadow Park from I-70, take exit 252
onto Highway 74 south. Traveling past Bergen Park, continue 2,25 miles to
Lewis Ridge Road and turn right into the parking area. A second access
is available at Highway 74 and Stagecoach Boulevard. Turn west onto
Stagecoach and travel 1.25 miles to the south parking lot. |
