Two access points are available for Troublesome Creek Trail.

  1. To reach Hay Park Trail from Kremming Colorado, travel east along Highway 40 for about 24 miles and turn north onto Highway 125. Continue along Highway 125 for 11 miles and turn left onto Buffalo Creek Road. Cross Sawmill Creek and continue for 2 miles to Bill Miller Trailhead. Follow Bill Miller and Paradise Creek Trail.
  2. Travel east along Highway 40 from Kremmling past Hot Sulphur Springs to Highway 125. Follow Highway 125 over Willow Creek Pass to FR 106. Turn left onto FR 106. Continue along FR 106 to FR 730 and turn right. Travel 1 mile along FR 730 to a small road on the left which leads up to the Troublesome Pass Trailhead.
