Available for hiking, biking, and horseback
riding, the 4 mile Hay Park Trail lies within the Troublesome Trail.
Hay Park Trail along with Middle Fork Trail & Siebert Creek provides a
circular route from Troublesome Creek Trail and is popular with horse
users. Hay Park Trail is rated moderate for hikers and offers occasional campsites.
Beginning along FR 105.2, Hay Park Trail is accessed
quickest by Wheatley Creek Trail #91. The trail leaves FR 105.2 and
travels along an old jeep road next to Hay Park Creek. After reaching Hay
Park, the trail leaves the creek and climbs to Siebert Creek Trail &
Grimes Peak Trail. |

| To reach Hay Park Trail from
Kremming Colorado, travel east along Highway 40 for about 10 miles and
turn north onto CR 21, also FR 112. Continue along CR 21/FR 112 to FR 12
and turn left. Travel FR 12 for 2 miles and turn left onto FR 121.
Wheatley Creek Trail is located at the end of FR 121. Travel along
Wheatley Creek Trail to FR 105.2. Travel west about a mile to Hay Park
Trail. |
