Available for both Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing,
the 4.16 mile Old Vail Pass follows the old Highway 6 over Vail Pass. Travel
toward the bike path gate, pass Gore Creek trailhead and campground. To
reach Old Vail Pass from I-70, exit 180 at East Vail and continue 1.9
miles east tot the end of the plowed south frontage road, just past Main
Gore Drive. |
