Lost Lake Trail, Eagle County Colorado Cross Country Ski Trails

Available for both Cross Country Skiing, Snowshoeing, and Snowmobile the 7.8 mile Lost Lake Trail begins at the Forest Service road closure on Red Sandstone Road. Following this road to the junction with Lost Lake Road, Lost Lake Trail encounters 3 more junctions after Lost Lake Road. At each junction the left fork should be taken, following Lost Lake Road 4 miles to Lost Lake Trail which ends at Lost Lake.

To reach Lost Lake Trail from I-70, take exit 176 at Vail Colorado and travel along the North Frontage Road west to Red Sandston Road. Turn right and continue to the winter road closure gate and park.
