|
|
White
River National Forest
Traveling for the first 2 miles through damp lush aspen
forest with abundant wild-flowers down to East Lake Creek, the 12.5 mile
East Lake Creek Trail crosses a wooden bridge and begins it's moderate
climb up the east side of East Lake Creek. The trail continues through a
narrow canyon valley of spruce/fir forest for about 4 miles, passing Boot
Lake and a swampy area. East Lake Creek Trail passes through an old mining
site with ruins and old machinery before entering a flat area passing a
series of ponds. The trail comes out into an alpine meadow before ending
at Upper Camp Lake. |
