Located near the headwaters of Eagle River, Camp Hale East
Fork Campground/Memorial Group Area was the training area for the 10th
Mountain Division for World War II.
There are 21 sites with campfire grate & table.
Parking spurs are 60 feet long and the campground offers 10 picnic sites.
No electrical hook-ups or dump stations are available.

Campground/Memorial Group Area is located off I-70, exit 171 for Minturn
and Highway 24. Turn right and continue about 17 miles to the campground,
passing through Minturn. Enter Camp Hale at the main entrance marked by
stone pillars, turn right at the first road and continue to the
campground. |
