Devil's Head Lookout Trail #611, Douglas County Colorado Hiking Trails

Available for Hiking & Horseback riding, the 1.4 mile Devil's Head Lookout Trail begins in the picnic area adjacent to Devil's Head Campground and ends at the last fire lookout of the Pike National Forest. Devil's Head Lookout Trail receives a large amount of foot traffic which makes the trail difficult for horses to maneuver. Gaining 950' in elevation, Devil's Head Lookout Trail is rated Moderate.

To access Devil's Head Lookout Trail from Sedalia Colorado, travel west for about 10 miles along Highway 67 to Rampart Range Road and turn left (south). Continue along Rampart Range Road for 8.5 miles to the trailhead.
