Located within George Washington National Forest, the 41 site Bolar Mountain Campground #1 is one of 3 campgrounds available within the Bolar Recreation Complex. Situated along the northwest shore of Lake Moomaw, Bolar Mountain Campground #1 offers electric hook-up at 22 campsites. Also available within Bolar Mountain Campground #1 are restrooms, waste station, hot showers and water. To reach Bolar Mountain Campground #1 from Warm Springs Virginia, travel west along VA 39 for 13 miles to VA 600 and turn left. Continue along VA 600 for 7 miles to the campground.
