Smyth County Virginia Campgrounds

Fox Creek Horse Campground
Located within Mount Rogers National Recreation Area, Fox Creek Horse Campground offers 2 open fields for camping with hitching rails located around the perimeter. Although no potable water is available, a designated stream provides access points for watering horses. Vault toilets are available. To reach Fox Creek Horse Campground from I-81 southbound at Marion, take exit 45 onto VA 16. Follow VA 16 for 17 miles to VA 603 at Troutdale and turn right. Continue along VA 603 for 4 miles to the campground on the left.
