Constructed in the 1930's by the Civilian Conservation Corps, Stuart is
nestled in the mountains of West Virginia along the Shavers Fork River.
Each campsite has a parking spur, table, fire ring, tent pad, lantern
holder, and electric hookup. All campsites are suitable for both tent and
trailer camping and can accommodate a 53-foot tow/vehicle combination. A
shower facility is available.

| A large grassy area for group tent camping is located just north of the
entrance on State Route 6. It is open year round and has picnic tables,
fire rings, accessible vault toilets, and a hand pump for water.
Directions:
From Elkins take US Route 33 east for approximately 4 miles. Turn north
on WV 33/8 (old US Route 33) and follow signs. Turn north on WV Route 6
and drive 1/2 mile to the entrance.
