The Mist Trail is nearly all uphill, upon reaching the Vernal Fall
footbridge, a view of the 317 feet high Vernal Falls. The further you go on
this trail the better the view.

You may continue past the footbridge to the top of Vernal Fall. This
portion of the trail becomes so steep that it takes a staircase of 600
granite steps to get to the top.
If you continue past the top of Vernal Fall you will come to the base of
Nevada Fall. Another set of granite steps will take you to the top of
Nevada Falls.
