Black River Trail

| Located within Davidsonville
Historic State Park, the 1 mile Black River Trail begins in the
historic town site, travels along the bank of the Black River through
the surrounding forest. Crossing a spillway stream near the river,
Black River Trail continues to the dam on the south side of Trapper
Lake, passing Phillips/Reeves Cemetery along it's way.
To reach Davidsonville Historic State Park from Pocahontas Arkansas,
travel 2 miles west along US 62 and turn south onto AR 166. Continue
south along AR 166 for 9 miles. Or from Black Rock, take US 63 to AR
361. Travel north 6 miles along AR 361.
