the 2,180 acre Lake Catherine State Park offers a large variety of
facilities and recreational opportunities including fishing, boating,
cabins, camping, hiking, horseback riding and more.
To reach Lake Catherine State Park from Hot Springs, travel east
along Highway 270 to Carpenter Dam Road and turn right. Continue along
Carpenter Dam Road to Highway 290 and turn left. Follow Highway 290 to
Highway 171 and turn left. Continue along Highway 171 to the park.
