us from the Alpine Village of Helen to Clarkesville. From Clarkesville
we drove north on GA 197 past the scenic Mark of the Potter to our
cabin only 0.25 miles away. |

Country Cabins offers several recreation and scenic opportunities within
a short driving distance. In addition to the towns mentioned above other
locations nearby include Lake Burton, Lake Rabun, Lake Seed, the Soque
River, Unicoi State Park, Hiking Trails, Waterfalls and lots of
shopping. The only problem is making yourself leave the cabin. You will
want to stay. |

Our outing took us to Toccoa Falls in nearby
Stephens County, and on a walking tour of Clarkesville. Because of a
spring shower we called it a day early and were forced to start up the
grill on the covered back porch and to sit in the hot tub listening to
the rain on the tin roof while waiting for our food to cook.
Rustic Country Cabins has something for everyone, it's a wonderful place
to escape. For those looking for a fun filled action packed get away or
a slow romantic weekend, this cabin has it all. Plan your visit today,
