Directions:
From the intersection of US 64 and NC 281 near Sapphire,
North Carolina drive 3.6 miles South on NC 281 to SR 1189, turn left. Park at this
intersection. This is the same parking area as Thompson Falls and
White Owl Falls.
High Falls about 70 feet high.
NOTE: From the information we can find
there are two falls in Transylvania County name "High Falls". We have assigned numbers to them to keep them separate. If you have any
information as to rather the two falls are named the same please let us know
