Chapman State Park, the 2.8 mile Big Rocks Trail is now called Hunters
Ridge Trail, and is rated strenuous. Marked with an orange blaze, Hunters
Ridge Trail travels past several interesting geological features including
fossils.
The lower section of the trail follows the wintertime snowmobile trail
to the warming hut and is blazed in red and white, and is ust under a mile
