Buncombe County North Carolina Bike Trails

Little Andy Trail

Following a ridge above Little Andy Creek, the 0.6 mile Little Andy Trail is marked with an orange blaze and is rated strenuous. Ascending steeply is sections, Little Andy Trail offers very few switchbacks. Designed as one of the many possible loop trails in the area, Little Andy Trail emerges onto Laurel Gap Trail.

To reach Little Andy Trail from Burnsville North Carolina travel east along US 19E for .5 miles and turn right onto NC 197. Continue along NC 197 for 25 miles, traveling through Pensacola and Cane River Gap, to Barnardsville. At the intersection of NC 197 and NC 2173 (Dillingham Road), turn left, this road will become FR 74. Continue 2.7 miles to the trailhead on the left.
