provide a location in which to hold the fundraiser (The
section on "Successful Fundraising" has some suggestions on
locations.).
About two weeks before picture day, your organization will
need to contact everyone who purchased a certificate to schedule appointments.
Appointments may be scheduled as close as every 10 minutes. YOU MUST SCHEDULE AT
LEAST 20 PETS FROM DIFFERENT HOUSEHOLDS. Promises do not count toward the minimal
number needed. (Please note
that this number may vary depending on your location, please contact Mimbs
Photography for the number needed in your location.).
On picture day Mimbs Photography will need access to the
building one hour before the first appointment to allow us time to set up the
studio. Your organization will need to provide someone to greet the pet owners
as they arrive and to collect money from any walk-ins. Mimbs Photography will
offer different backdrops to the pet owner and take all necessary poses to
ensure a beautiful portrait of the pet(s).
After the pet is photographed the pet owner will be able to
view their photographs on our laptop and select the portrait they like. Prints
may be ordered at this time. Your group will receive 10% from all money
collected from the sale of prints. There is no obligation to purchase any prints. All prints will be
mailed to the pet owners in 3 weeks.
