Flat Creek Loop Trail

| Available for both hiking and biking, the 5
mile Flat Creek Loop is rated moderate and receives moderate use.
Providing vistas of mountain ridges and descending to the shores of
Lake Blue Ridge, Flat Creek Loop may be accessed by following the
trail (white & dark green blazes) on the road bed west from the
bulletin board at Deep Gap parking area.
Traveled in a counterclockwise direction Flat Creek Loop follows
the southeastern slopes of davenport Mountain to the headwaters of
Flat Creek. One-tenth mile past the beginning of Flat Creek Loop, a
connector leads up and to the right 0.1 mile to .Stanley Gap

To reach Stanley Gap Trail from Blue
Ridge Georgia, travel east toward Blairsville
Georgia along GA 515 for 0.8 miles and turn right at Windy Ridge
Road. Travel 0.2 miles along Windy Ridge Road to it's dead end with
Old US 76 and turn left. Continue along Old US 76 for 0.2 miles and
turn right onto Aska Road. Travel south along Aska Road for 4.4 miles
to Deep Gap parking area.
