Length: 10.0 miles
Begins
where Wilderness Trail crosses Crooked Fork.
As the name implies, this trail travels an old railroad grade.
Five miles up the right fork of Laurel Fork it crosses the
Pickens Road and follows the Middle Fork of Laurel Fork back to
the “Old Thomas Place. You
may then walk the road back to the Park Headquarters.
In one area this trail winds through some interesting rock
formations.

River State Park is located on WV 20, 32 miles south of Buckhannon and 20
miles north of Webster Springs. Interstate 79 running north/south through
central West Virginia offers access to WV 20 at several points.
