State Park
Length: 2.0 miles
Trailheads
located by cabin 34 and on the T. M. Cheek Road 0.5 mile south of the T.
M. Cheek Overlook. Trail,
then winds uphill to the T. M. Cheek Road directly across from the
Kennison Trail. Follow
the road to the right (North) to the T. M. Cheek overlook.
For a loop hike, continue North from the overlook along the road
until you come to the T. M. Cheek Trail on the right. The
T. M. Cheek
Trail will return you to cabin 21 in
the Pine Run Cabin Area.

Directions:
Watoga
can be reached from north of Hillsboro and south of Mill Point on US
219. A sign directs you to Watoga State Park. From this point,
travel two miles on paved secondary road to the park entrance. An
alternative route is to turn from WV 39 at Huntersville and travel nine
miles to the north entrance of the park. |
