Hawks Nest State
Park
The
scenic 0.75 mile Canyon Trail travel from the lodge to the New River Gorge
and starts at the
tennis courts. The trail goes
from the ridgetop through a forest of mixed hardwoods, ferns and
wildflowers to its end at the mouth of Mill Creek.
There are steps most of the
way.

Nest State Park is conveniently located on the Midland Trail Scenic
Highway (Route 60). One hour east of Charleston West Virginia and only 8 miles west of
Route 19.
