Located within Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, the 3.2 mile Boulder Creek Trail is rated Moderate and travels pass a formation of giant eroded granite boulders and skirts wet meadows. Boulder Creek Trail begins and ends in the ponderosa pine forest.

To reach Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument from Florissant Colorado follow signs 2 miles south to the visitor center on CR 1.
