Available for Hiking, and Horseback Riding,
the 11 mile Ute Creek Trail follows the ridgetop for about 2 miles
before dropping into the Ute Creek drainage. Following Ute Creek for 4
miles to Flat Tops Wilderness boundary. Two miles into the wilderness
the trail reaches Flat tops plateau and continues another 2.5 miles to
Oyster Lake and the Oyster Lake Trail junction.

To reach Ute Creek Trail from Meeker Colorado, travel east along CO 13
for 1 mile and turn east onto CR 8. Continue along CR 8 for 28 miles and
turn south, cross the bridge and turn west (left) onto CR 12 (Marvine
Creek Road) for 1 miles to Ute Creek Road. Follow Ute Creek Road for 1
mile taking the left fork up Ute Creek to the Ute Creek Trailhead.
