Available for Hiking, and Horseback Riding,
the 2.7 mile Skinny Fish/McGinnis Trail leaves Skinny Fish Trailhead
& climbs steeply for the first mile before entering a relatively
flat meadow. One mile from the trailhead Lost Lakes Trail
#1812 branches to the left. The trail follows Skinny Fish Creek for
1 mile to where McGinnis Lake Trail branches to the east. Skinny Fish
Trail continues 0.5 mile to Skinny Fish Lake while McGinnis Trail
travels 0.7 mile to McGinnis Lake.

To reach Skinny Fish/McGinnis Trail from Meeker Colorado, travel along
CO 13 for 1 mile to CR 8 and turn east. Continue along CR 8 for 39 miles
to Trappers Lake Road (FR 205 and turn south. Travel 8 miles along FR
205 to the parking area.
