Forest
Available for Hiking, and Horseback Riding,
the 3.5 mile Mirror Lake Trail crosses a 0.75 mile strip of private land
along the White River after leaving the parking area. Shortly after
starting into the timber, the trail enters the National Forest and the
Flat tops Wilderness. The trail follows Mirror Creek for 2.5 miles until
you reach Shamrock Lake. Big Ridge Trail
#1820 climbs to the west 0.25 miles past Shamrock Lake.

To reach Mirror Lake Trail from Meeker Colorado, travel along CO 13
for 1 mile to CR 8 and turn east. Continue along CR 8 for 39 miles to
Trappers Lake Road (FR 205 and turn south. Travel 0.5 miles along FR 205
to Mirror Lake Trailhead access road. Follow the road for 0.25 mile to
the trailhead.
