Available for Hiking, and Horseback Riding,
the 5.3 mile Carhart Trail circles Trappers Lake close to the shore
along the east & north sides. Along the west & south sides the
trail travels away from the lake up to 1.3 miles to it's furthest point.
Carhart Trail accesses Stillwater Trail
#1814 to the east, Trappers Lake Trail to the south and Wall Lake
Trail to the west.

To reach Stillwater Trail from Meeker Colorado, travel along CO 13 for 1
mile to CR 8 and turn east. Continue along CR 8 for 39 miles to Trappers
Lake Road (FR 205 and turn south. Travel 10 miles along FR 205 to Outlet
Trailhead. Carhart Trail may be accessed from any of the Trappers Lake
parking areas. The trail is about 0.25 miles from the parking areas.
