Tie Hack Winter Trail

With several moderately steep pitches, the 5.5 mile Tie Hack Trail is a primitive winter travel route which is not groomed or patrolled on a regular basis. Traveling Tie Hack Trail in a clockwise direction will allow most of these steep pitches to be negotiated going uphill.

To reach Tie Hack Trail by traveling south from Fairplay along US 285, 0.5 miles to the Fourmile Creek Forest Access Road. continue along this road for about 3.4 miles to the trailhead.
