Located within Mesa Verde National
Park, the 2.4 mile (round-trip) Spruce Canyon Trail begins from the
Spruce Tree House Trail and travels along the bottom of Spruce Tree Canyon,
turns up Spruce Canyon and returns to the museum.
Mesa Verde National Park Headquarters is about a 1 hour drive east of
Cortez Colorado along Highway 160, and about a 1.5 hour drive west from
Durango Colorado along Highway 160.
